Have you ever been woken up to the blaring sounds of “Jingle bell jingle bell jingle bell rock!” complete with sleigh bells? Well today we were. Oh what a lovely lazy Sunday morning lie in that was…yes I am being sarcastic haha!
Today The Christmas Crocodile was having a party in the kitchen with a few of his friends complete with pizza! The boys danced about and sang Christmas songs for the rest of the day much to my husbands annoyance. hehe. I am very glad I am married to a drummer as I always have a set of earplugs for such occasions. When our boys want to be loud, they could literally raise the dead with the sheer volume of their tiny voice-boxes.
We learned today to live in the moment and not stress about the little things. To help each other out and have fun in life. Cabbit helped me clean out the animals and dust the house. We turned it into a game and he really enjoyed talking to the bunnies and piggy. We rewarded ourselves for all our hard work with a tasty warm lunch of soup while watching Elf snuggled on the sofa. It’s the little things that make life blissful; all we need to do is stop and see them.
I am off to relax in a long hot bubble bath! Annnnnnnnd relax!
